We know that Pizza tastes best when it is made from scratch, which is why we make our dough and fresh mozzarella daily by hand. We use only the best... San Marzano tomatoes prepared daily along with our top quality ingredients to compliment the most incredible taste experience you will ever have. From our friendly service and warm atmosphere to our handmade dough to our freshly grated cheese and sauce. This is our tradition passed down from generation to generation of Sicilian-Style pizza, at Aiello's Pizzeria, food is heritage.
We will not compromise on quality nor will we cut corners. That is why nearly everything on the menu is handmade, from our Artisinal handmade Dough, Fennel Sausage, Homemade Meatballs, to our Sicilian Cannolis. If we don't make it... we buy the best imported products we can find from the most skilled artisans in their craft.
Our History in Making Pizza...
It all started when, Giuseppe Aiello set sail for America from Bagheria Sicily in 1967.
With only a few dollars in his pocket, Giuseppe left his family, confident that the land of opportunity would provide more than an income, but the life he had dreamed of.
Giuseppe fulfilled his dream in 1978 and opened his own pizza shop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From a young age, Giuseppe’s son, Peter worked alongside his father learning the "Art of Creating Great Pizza." Now with over 25 years of experience making pizza the way his father taught him, Peter is following his dream just as his father did many years ago. With a simple philosophy... create pizza with integrity using old-world craftsmanship and the highest quality ingredients available.
Why all of this extra work you might be asking yourself? Because this is the way it should be done. Pizza goes back to the first millennium B.C. As a master predecessor of this craft it is our job to uphold the standards for you to enjoy. Pizza made any other way, simply would not be pizza.
